"I opened WillowBee in 2009! I had worked at many corporate childcare centers and realized many were about making money ,and no personal experience. My children were young and it made sense to start my own private center.
I graduated from Kent State with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I worked at many centers outside of campus.
The best thing about being an early childcare educator is the connection I have these children daily. I love seeing them grow and learn something new each day!"
My own children are college or the "real world" now, but I still get to have my "borrowed children" here at Willowbee!!

"I have been with WillowBee since January 2014! In May of 2020 I earned my CDA (Child Development Associate) and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on administration in December of 2025!
When I was growing up and someone would ask what I wanted to be I would always say I wanted to be a mom! So, this seems to be the prefect career choice for me!
The best thing about being an early childhood educator is being a part of shaping who they are and supporting them to reach their full potential!"
